The Story Behind the Pineapple Upside-Down Cake Shot
Much like its namesake dessert, the Pineapple Upside-Down Cake Shot is playful, comforting, and bursting with tropical flavour. While its origins are fuzzy, it likely emerged in the 1990s or early 2000s — a time when bartenders were having fun recreating desserts in cocktail form.
Today, this shot is a party favourite. It’s colourful, nostalgic, and deliciously simple to make.

Hi this looks like a awesome drink. The combination of pineapple with cake is about as good as it gets. Upside down shots are all so awesome. And like you said it’s basically good for any occasion. Except drinking alone of course. And it can be a little expensive at the bar so just be ready for that.
100% bars can be expensive this is why I love that I have a platform where I can share and teach people to make these amazing recipes from home.
