    Kasie, this is fascinating! I love the edible straws! Amazing! I rarely go to bars these days because I’d rather drink at home. I live in Japan so the concept of a bar is rather different! Also, although Japanese draft beer is excellent, so is the canned! I’m a wine drinker, and Japanese wine exists but I’m afraid it’s not for me!

    I think we’re getting to the point where all businesses are starting to look seriously at sustainability, but it’s really gratifying to know that drinking establishments are too. Btw, does your article relate only to bars in your country  –  US?  –  or is there a worldwide trend? Also, how are these sustainability measures affecting alcoholism I wonder?
